The Magic Of Words

Hello everyone, wish you all a happy new year!

Today's post is a late post of 2025 as I wasn't able to share earlier.

In August,2025 , I participated in a letter writing competition. We had to write a letter to our favorite author. It was organised by a bookstore, Shelfe book. I was keen to write a letter so I participated. But there was one problem, I have a lot of favorite authours like J.k Rowling, Ruskin Bond, Holly Web,Sudha murty and many more so it was difficult to choose. I absolutely love J.K Rowling but it was time to choose somebody else.

I wrote a letter to Raina Telgmeier ,an american cartoonist. She has created the books Courage, Drama, Ghosts, Guts, Smile, Sisters and the first four books of the Baby sitters club. I choose to write to her because her writing engages me. I wrote a page on how she makes me feel, why I like her and even how she inspiers me every day. After some weeks of submitting,I was totally thrilled!! I got selected in the top 5 entries! I was ecstatic and thrilled and it motivated me to continue my love of writing.
